Multi-disciplinary artist Sarah Fenwick

Sarah Fenwick is an accomplished Anglo-Cypriot jazz singer, painter, and author based in Germany, recognized for her three-octave vocal range, multi-disciplinary artistic practice, and vibrant presence on the international cultural scene.

She has performed at many celebrated festivals and venues, from the Haifa Blues Festival in Israel and Le Scimmie Jazz Club in Milan to the Limassol Jazz Festival, Cyprus Music Days Festival, the Aphrodite Hills Jazz Festival, and a featured TEDxNicosia performance.

Born in Nakuru, Kenya, and raised across a tapestry of cultures including the UK, the US, the Cayman Islands, and Switzerland, Sarah's early exposure to global perspectives fostered a deep love for multicultural creative expression. This lifelong journey has carried her into dynamic collaborations with leading musical voices, such as legendary Scottish guitarist Jim Mullen, Italian guitarist Gigi Cifarelli, Israeli pianist Ari Erev, and Cypriot saxophonist Charis Ioannou.

Both as a striking improviser and a cultural leader – having co-founded the popular live music venue Sarah's Jazz Club in Nicosia – she has become celebrated for a style that weaves beautifully between blues, ethnic rhythms, Latin music, and traditional jazz, always grounded in a unique improvisational voice.

As a recording artist, Sarah has released five jazz albums that map her musical evolution: Jazz Attack, Love Life, Jazz Way, Jazz Origins (featuring guitarist Marinos Neophytou), and Freedom Groove, featuring the Sarah Fenwick Quartet.

Parallel to her music, her creative expansion includes vivid abstract expressionist oil and acrylic paintings collected across Europe and a growing literary career. After earning a Master’s degree with Distinction in Creative Writing from the University of Hull, she published well-reviewed books ranging from her historical fiction thriller, Eleven Bastions of the Stone Lion, to her practical music handbook, Digital Marketing for Musicians, underscoring her purpose to spread creative energy.
